The International Journal of Bioelectronics (IJBIOE) publishes original research articles, review papers, and short communications that contribute to the advancement of bioelectronics, biomedical engineering, and medical technology. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and efficient publication process.

1. Manuscript Submission

2. File Format

Submissions are accepted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), PDF (.pdf), or LaTeX format. Figures and tables should be embedded within the manuscript and may be requested as separate high-resolution files during the review or production process.

3. Article Types

  • Original Research Articles: Full-length papers reporting significant scientific or technological advances (typically 4000–7000 words).
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of relevant topics in bioelectronics or biomedical engineering (up to 8000 words).
  • Short Communications: Brief reports on novel methods, prototypes, or preliminary findings (up to 3000 words).

4. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should include the following sections, in order:

  • Title Page: Article title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact information.
  • Abstract: A concise summary (150–250 words) stating objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: 4–6 terms separated by commas.
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • References: IEEE or APA format.

5. Figures and Tables

Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and include descriptive captions. Images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Graphs and diagrams must be clear and legible. All figures and tables must be cited in the main text.

6. Ethical Considerations

Authors must adhere to accepted ethical standards in research and publication. Studies involving human or animal subjects must include approval from an appropriate ethics committee. Plagiarism, data fabrication, or manipulation will result in immediate rejection.

7. Peer Review

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, methodological rigor, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

8. Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Bioelectronics (IJBIOE) operates under a full open access model. Accepted articles are published online and made immediately and permanently available to all readers without access restrictions.

9. Copyright and Licensing

All articles published in IJBIOE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) . Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

10. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

There are no publication fees or article processing charges (APCs) for authors publishing in the International Journal of Bioelectronics (IJBIOE).
