Scope and Relevance

The journal welcomes contributions that combine fundamental research with technological development. Both experimental and theoretical works are considered, as well as systematic reviews and mini-reviews presenting emerging trends.

The International Journal of Bioelectronics (IJBIOE) seeks to advance global scientific dialogue and contribute to evidence-based technological solutions addressing challenges in public health, rehabilitation, and sustainable medical innovation. Submissions from international research institutions, industry R&D centers, and collaborative projects are strongly encouraged, particularly those demonstrating a high potential for societal impact and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to health, innovation, and quality of life.

Peer Review Process

All submissions to the International Journal of Bioelectronics (IJBIOE) undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific rigor, originality, and relevance. Each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief for compliance with editorial policies and alignment with the journal’s scope.

Manuscripts deemed suitable are then assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers, whose identities remain anonymous to the authors, and vice versa. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s scientific contribution, methodological quality, and ethical integrity.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. This process ensures transparency, impartiality, and academic excellence, maintaining the high standards expected of international scientific publications.
